An 88 year-old Indian man was found dead in his house by his one living son Tuesday noon at the Moapa Indian Reservation,
according to Las Vegas Metro Policeman Gary MARSHALL.
Archie KAY was last seen alive last Wednesday, but wasn't found until Tuesday. Joe MCGUCKIN, Las Vegas Metro
Police detective said the cause of death is unknown, "but in my estimation it was a murder." MUGUCKIN said an autopsy
will have to be done before a final conclusion can be given.
Agnes HANK, a distant relative, said KAY had lived most of his life at the reservation and had never bothered anyone.
Pioneer is buried.- The funeral of the late William KAYSER took place this afternoon from the KITZMEYER Undertaking Parlors. Rev. HORNADAY officiated and the following old friends of the deceased acted as pallbearers. Thomas LEARY, James LOGAN, John PORTERFIELD, Fred KNOBLOCK, Henry WOODS and Henry HEIDENREICH. The internment was in the Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Funeral services were held here on January 21, for A. S. KING who died on the 17th in California. His wife, who was Miss Rachel PERKINS of this place reached his bedside a few hours before he died, and returned with the corpse Friday. She was accompanied on her trip by her three small children. Her brother Wm. PERKINS met her at Nipton and returned with her to Moapa.

Funeral services were held here Friday for Mrs. Alice CANFIELD KING, 65 at the Edna T. EDDY and Son Chapel with
the Rev. R. A. LUNDY officiating. Burial was in the family plot in the Eagle's section of the cemetery here.
Pallbearers were John YRUETA, Louis SARASURA, Candido UTIZAR, Julian ARRATE, S. M. ERSKINE and Pete PEDROLI.
She died at her home in Winnemucca, August 13. She had been ill for some time.
Mrs. KING was a resident of Humboldt County for over 20 years. She was born in Terrace, Utah, June 26, 1885.
She is the mother of Mrs. Rita JUREY, Los Angeles, and the sister of Mrs. Josephine DIDLAKE, Battle
Mountain. She was a member of the Women's Benefit Association Chapter in Ogden, Utah.

Services are pending for Violet Marie KOESER, 86, who died May 27 in Las Vegas. She was born May 20, 1918 in Kearney, NE and was a 12-year resident of Pahrump, coming from Lakeview, OR. She enjoyed fishing and creative expression through crafts.
Her husband Ray KOESER of Pahrump; sons Gary Lee of Butte Falls, OR, Larry Lee of Waldport, OR, Larry KOESER of Olympia, WA, and Roger KOESER of Bainbridge Island, WA; daughters Barbara SANHEO and Janet KOESER, both of Tucson; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren survive her.
