About the Nevada GenWeb Project
§§§§§
At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to
coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents
of the web page. Contact the volunteer shown on the county page if you
have a desire to add your data to the database. §§§§§
Now the same thing is in the works for many states in the nation. This is the project for Nevada. If the county
in which you are interested does not have a page and you wish to participate, please contact Patricia A. Scott
or visit the volunteer section of this page.
If you would like to contribute your data, or are just curious, leave me a message and I will get back to you with the
answers! §§§§§
You may notice a message beside the county listing indicating
it is available for adoption. This means that we are now looking for someone to take it over. If you would like to adopt a
web page for one of these counties, please click on the> Adopt Me < sign.
Use your creativity and expression! Some links are provided below for free clip art, HTML help, and especially webmaster help! Above all, if you have questions, ask.
There is no such thing as a "dumb" questions! We all started somewhere and a little patience goes a long way.

In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Kentucky Comprehensive Genealogy Database
Project. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Kentucky, where collected databases would be
stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked, so that even if an individual were found in more
than one county, they could be located in the index.

If for some reason you decide not to host a county to which you are assigned, please contact the State Coordinator and let her/him know! It facilitates a smooth transition.
If you change your email address, notify your State Coordinator so all pages can be updated!
